The park
A spacious green area with paths and planted beds surrounds the exhibition. A place to breathe between visits – or simply to stay.
Outdoors
Room for a slow afternoon
Around a hectare of grounds, deliberately open: wide paths, clear lawns, benches in the shade and in the sun. Children can run without being called back every minute – and anyone who needs a break will always find a quiet corner.
In summer the green areas are the natural extension of a visit: first the model world, then mini golf, with a break in the park in between.
On the grounds
What is waiting outside
Paths & beds
Surfaced paths run along planted beds and lawns – easy going with a pushchair or wheelchair.
Seating & breaks
Benches and tables are spread across the grounds. Food and drink you bring along are welcome outdoors – but not in the restaurant or the play corner.
Playing
In front of the bistro there is a playground with a swing and a slide, within sight of the seating.
Seasons
The park changes through the year – blossom in spring, quiet colour in autumn.
The park is open all year round – you can walk through it in snow or rain just as well, it simply invites you to linger less. The exhibition is indoors anyway.
Indoors and outdoors in one day
Exhibition, park and mini golf sit right next to each other – one ticket, one site, no travelling in between.
